Over the past two decades, Bush and his dedicated team at B.I.G. have implemented technologies managing an impressive $86 billion in projects and infrastructure assets. As an information technologist, Bush has a deep-rooted passion for harnessing the power of data for project governance and controls.
At the heart of B.I.G.'s business lies the innovative use of information systems to deliver data to clients. The firm sets itself apart from competitors by offering complete solutions that emphasize the supremacy of data over paperwork, aiming to digitize organizations. As Bush put it, "The ability to analyze and act on data is becoming increasingly vital to our clients. Data visualization for performance feedback, decision support, and its re-purposing for downstream use are the future." To this end, Bush is currently exploring methodologies in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Bush's endeavors extend beyond U.S. borders. He actively participates in the development of the African diaspora and has traveled to locations including Dubai, Jamaica, Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Costa Rica. He initiated the development of a new vertical for B.I.G., GlobeClouders.com, which serves not just as a web-hosting company but as a vehicle to deliver Bush's vision to international clients. GlobeClouders.com will enhance B.I.G.'s professional service delivery abroad and introduce a new service offering - "units for sale", creating new revenue streams such as data transmission, data storage, email, and other cloud-enabled services.
In 2019, after over two decades of successful high-finance technology implementation services, Bush designed and oversaw the development of PHAZE®, a Web Collaboration Information System designed to make high-finance systems more accessible to small businesses and entrepreneurs. Originally conceived for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Facilities Management industries, PHAZE was later adapted for all sectors due to a need to address emerging business requirements created by the COVID-19 pandemic. B.I.G., the only Black-owned firm to own and operate a solution like PHAZE, won the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) 2020 “Minority Innovative Technology Firm of the Year” award. Following that honor, the company won the Initiative for a Competitive Inner City 100 Fastest-Growing Inner City Businesses of 2021. In 2022, a case study titled “KFA, Inc.: Building the Future” was published by Harvard Business School Publications.
