Don McKneely

 Billion Dollar Roundtable Trailblazer and MBNUSA Publisher

Don McKneely is a 47-year veteran of newspaper, magazine, radio, and pay television. He is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of TexCorp Communications, Inc., including its Business News Group publications ⎯ MBN USA and WE USA magazines. He founded Minority Business News in May 1988 and its sister publication Women's Enterprise USA in July 1991.

McKneely is the founding chairman of the Billion Dollar Roundtable, an organization that recognizes companies annually purchasing in excess of $1 billion with women and minority -owned businesses.  He initiated the Million Dollar Roundtable, an organization that honors corporate buyers annually purchasing $1 million or more with women and minority owned suppliers.  McKneely is also the founder of the Beacon Diversity Council, co-founder of Minority Business Hall of Fame and Museum, Inc. and founder of the WBE Hall of Fame.

 

In 2005 McKneely was awarded the prestigious Women’s Business Enterprise National Council “Applause award.”  - And in May 2014 he was inducted into the National Minority Business Hall of Fame.

 

In October of 2018 McKneely was one of three inaugural inductees into the Michigan Women’s Business Council Great Lakes Hall of Fame.

 

In September of 2021 McKneely was awarded the Life Time Achievement Award presented by the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA).

 

In November 2022 McKneely was awarded the Chairmans E-award by the Dallas Fort Worth Minority Supplier Development Council.

 

 

Since 1988, Don McKneely and TexCorp Communications have received over 100 awards for their support of minority and women business development initiatives.  The following diversity mission statement guides Don’s passion for diverse business development: “Building a better tomorrow by establishing multiethnic and diverse partnerships today.”
